Red-necked Phalarope

Well, it's 1am and I still have a load of work to do tonight, so this is brief!

Red-necked Phalarope on Black Hole Marsh, taken in the evening of Monday 24th August. What a cracking wee bird.

Partial Solar Eclipse

Hello! Very long time, no posts...

Long story short, life has taken some dramatic turns over recent years, primarily regarding some 'unfortunate' health issues, some of them to do with me, and some of them to do with my favourite little person in the World.

There's an absolute (insurmountable) mountain of wildlife-related content that should be on here, primarily birding and odonata. For now though, I just had to share this image that I took at Haytor Lowman on August 12th, as part of the partial solar eclipse event here in the UK. As a daddy to a little girl, this chance candid feels rather special.
