Photos from Black Hole marsh & Beer Head

I gave Black Hole Marsh and Beer Head a quick visit early evening today. It was nice to see another Little Stint which arrived yesterday on BHM (I think) but there wasn't anything else of interest new in.
Beer Head was good with 40 ish Yellow Wagtail, 4 Meadow Pipit and a single Whinchat.

Eagerly awaiting a stonking American wader; there are a few about quite close to here so Black Hole Marsh may come good...

  1. Hi Tim, it was great chatting to you on Sat afternoon in the Island hide. Your blog is great and photos fab, I just wish I could pop down to BHM more often. That lens you have is something superb and you really have an eye for the photographs and know how to get the best from that lens

Looking forward to the next entry,

    Cheers, Robin Morrison

    1. Thanks Robin! It's such a brilliant place for photography; the light can be frustrating at times but it can also be incredible. BHM is certainly having a good year!
