A Painful Patch Dip

Despite making a rapid exit from home, I didn't connect with the Hen Harrier that Steve Waite found this afternoon. It would have been nice to add this to the patch list after having a few Marsh Harriers and a Montagu's Harrier in recent years (see here and here for the Montagu's). I did get a couple of snaps of a passing Sparrowhawk though; it was taking a swipe at the Starling flock:

    1. Ha the Sparrowhawk was being mobbed by Corvids whilst attacking the Starlings!

  2. You caught an amazing moment, Tim.

    1. Hi, Daniella! I can agree with you from the point of view of a person who sees something beautiful and unique in photography, but I can't agree with you here from the point of view of a humane aspect. Is killing really amazing?

    2. Hello, Edward! I didn't really mean killing, actually. But thanks, nevertheless, for the different points. I didn't think about that under such a shade of light.

    3. I'm sorry if I offended you somehow. I didn't mean to. I'm really very keen on humane things.
